MARC ROBINSON as Buddy Holly
As Marc tours extensively as Buddy Holly he has created many lasting memories. On the occasion of his Birthday, Sir Cliff Richard was entertained in the NEC by Marc. Marc has also played Glastonbury, the Brit Awards, and other numerous T.V. appearances on both ITV and BBC.

Marc was privileged to perform on the same bill as Buddy Holly's Crickets as well as other performers such as Marty Wilde, Joe Brown and many more.

When applying for 'Stars in their Eyes' Marc found himself up against 4000 entrants, he was given a place and was the first Buddy Holly Tribute to play on the show.

Marc's other T.V. appearances include Gerry Kelly's New Years Eve show in Northern Ireland.   T.V. adverts as diversified as the Fox's biscuit ad to the recent American Legends Compilation CD.  Along side his music career, Marc has had numerous T.V. appearances to name but a few, The Bill, Eastenders and Silent Witness. Feature films include Mrs Brown and The Fifth Element.  Marc found himself recently as a D.J for FCUK and found the experience very satisfying.

For the past ten years, Marc has been involved in numerous theatre shows including  "Rockin' on Heavens Door" and "In Dreams" both of which he is an originator and founder member.

Marc is now touring all over Gt Britain, Europe and the Middle East. playing such venues such as Cardiff's St David's Hall, Manchester's Opera House and the London Palladium.

Marc has been widely acclaimed as the Buddy Holly tribute artiste. As both a solo and together with his band The Counterfeit Crickets he has toured extensively at home and abroad. Marc is a leading artist from T.V's Stars in their eyes and has taken the lead role as Buddy in the touring version of the West End musical Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story.

As a performer bringing the essence of Buddy to life Marc is second to none. He is a lifelong fan of Buddy which is evident in his attention to detail, from the heavy rimmed glasses to the Fender Stratocaster. Marc can perform away from his crickets in a unique solo tribute to Buddy dressed in authentic attire.   Marc's appearance is unnervingly like Buddy's own. To quote the stage newspaper "his vocals were uncannily true to the original"

If its Buddy Holly from 1958 which is required,  look no further than Marc Robinson's tribute to the great man himself

Marc can provide a show from 45 mins set up to 2 hours. For a full evening's line up of stars, other Tribute Artists can be booked, for example combinations from the following Buddy, Elvis, Roy Orbison, Brenda Lee, Big Bopper
